First off dont even bother calling PayPal they will do nothing to help you whatsover, except stear you in the wrong direction all the time. When submitting payment for an item, its clearly shown before you hit the payment button what source of funds its using, it will always default to checking unless you change it on the payment. That is clearly stated. Unless you didnt do that, its a valid transaction. If you knew that you did it, then go to your bank and file a NON ACH Dispute against PayPal. You'll get your money back and get the stuff for free. Since PayPal was the one that charged your account they are the ones legally responsible for the charge (something they'll never tell you).
