It will work better with landing page because in landing page you need to put attractive & unique image so that in this tools without knowledge you can add it easily also time saver.

LOL!! Can you try with different email i have tried with gmail & the problem comes from hosting i think author didn't awareness about it & sometimes hosting blocked gmail, hotmail etc... if gmail, hotmail,yahoo doesn't work then it should be problem in mis-config with hosting.
