Arrow Reasons why Paypal limits accounts

I have used Paypal since 2010 and because of the many experiences I had with them, I can say that I became more aware as to how their system works. In this post, I would like to share to you some of the reasons why Paypal limits accounts.

      1. You used VPN (Virtual Private Network) or other IP changing software in accessing their website.
      2. You logged in at the same browser using multiple accounts (ie. you and your family member used Google Chrome in logging into Paypal).
      3. You used the funds you received immediately (Paypal may detect this as a suspicious/fraudulent activity).
      4. You used Opera mini in accessing Paypal's website (this only applies to non-US users).
      5. You have withdrawn large amounts of money after being inactive for a while.
      6. Your account faced too many disputes/chargebacks.
      7. You received large amounts of money.
      8. The credit card/debit card you used in Paypal does not check out.
      9. The products you sell are in violation of Paypal's terms.
      10. Your website's content are in violation of Paypal's terms.
      11. You received funds from an unverified account which was flagged as risky by Paypal's system.

Knowing these reasons will help you avoid being limited in the future. Take it from my experience (the account under my name was closed).

Anyways, I also want to share a fact about Paypal account limitation: it is done not manually. Meaning, the system will automatically limit your account once a transaction is flagged as suspicious/fraudulent activity.

mine was permanently limited some days ago. I was planning to use it for my future shopify stores but now I'm stuck with no payment processor(no stripe in my country)
Can somebody help me? I'm really upset and desperate here...
