From Zero to App in less than 2 hours with Oracle APEX

Oracle Application Express (Oracle APEX) is a framework for rapidly developing Web applications which are modern, mobile-ready and responsive all from within your browser. In less than two hours, we are going to build a task tracking application from start to finish that includes authentication, a database back-end, a polished look and feel, a mobile view and all the components that you would expect to see in a modern application. I'll take you through the process of requesting an Oracle APEX workspace. I'll give a high level overview of Oracle APEX including the Application Builder, SQL Workshop and the other APEX areas. Then we will go through the process of inspecting a sample application that comes bundled with APEX. No tutorial would be complete without a Hello World application build. We build Hello World APEX-Style. Then we go through the process of creating our Task Application which include designing our database back-end and our application front-end. I'll take you through using APEX's unique Page Designer for visually composing your application.
